Job Description

Hypori seeks a Channel Sales Engineer to drive technical enablement for its virtual workspace platform, which grants users access to corporate apps and data on mobile devices with absolute personal privacy and zero endpoint data. Operating remotely within the United States, this role reports directly to the VP of Commercial Sales and works alongside the Channel Account Manager. The position requires frequent travel of up to 40 percent to partner locations and industry events. The incoming professional will establish the technical framework for the newly formed channel program, enabling partner engineers at Managed Security Service Providers, Managed Service Providers, RPOs, and C3PAOs to independently scope, demonstrate, and deploy the platform. Performance metrics include technical win rates, partner-sourced pipelines, and partner self-sufficiency in closing deals. Ideal candidates move with urgency, practice extreme ownership, and possess deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, and endpoint architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Channel Account Manager to design partner technical certification tracks.
  • Empower partner engineers to independently execute demonstrations, scoping, and rollouts.
  • Oversee reference architectures, partner lab environments, and deployment documentation.
  • Prepare partner sales and compliance teams to articulate the CMMC scope reduction strategy.
  • Evaluate customer needs to explain the rationale behind adopting the platform over alternative solutions.
  • Manage discovery sessions, product presentations, and proof-of-value implementations.
  • Apply MEDDPICC methodology to confirm technical criteria and identify qualified opportunities.
  • Define deployments covering identity management, multi-tenant structures, application delivery, licensing, and assessment boundaries.
  • Complete security assessments, RFIs, and shared responsibility inquiries.
  • Assist partners in bundling the platform into managed service offerings alongside RMM, PSA, and SIEM tools.
  • Relay partner and field feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Participate in channel webinars, marketing initiatives, and events such as CMMC CON.
  • Establish technical foundations for a broader network of security resellers and solution providers over time.

Requirements

  • Accumulate three to five years of experience as a solutions architect, solutions engineer, or sales engineer within a SaaS cybersecurity organization, MSP, or MSSP.
  • Demonstrate a history of supporting cybersecurity sales with proven technical win rates.
  • Bring hands-on background in enabling MSP or MSSP partners, including content creation for certifications.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of CMMC 2.0 and NIST SP 800-171 regulations.
  • Maintain expertise in endpoint security architecture spanning mobile devices, identity systems, and data protection.
  • Exhibit fluency in MEDDPICC and maintain accurate Salesforce records.
  • Travel up to 40 percent of the time to partner sites and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Possess specialized understanding of CMMC and 800-171 concepts such as CUI versus FCI, asset categories, and SPRS scoring.
  • Understand Microsoft 365 GCC High environments, migrations, and footprint reduction.
  • Familiarity with endpoint and mobile security tools like MDM, UEM, MAM, EDR, and enterprise browsers.
  • Knowledge of identity and networking protocols including SSO, SAML, SCIM, conditional access, and cloud networking.
  • Prior employment at an MSP, MSSP, RPO, or C3PAO supporting defense contractors.
  • Hold certifications such as CMMC CCP, CCA, CISSP, Security+, or Microsoft credentials.
  • Background in early-stage channel programs.
  • Previous military service or civilian Department of War experience.
