Responsibilities

- Collaborate daily with engineering and design teams through sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives while making swift decisions regarding scope and sequencing
- Define and validate non-functional requirements including failover service level agreements, disaster recovery objectives, high availability targets, and throughput performance
- Confirm that delivered features adhere to DICOM PS3.4 compliance requirements and published conformance statements
- Gather feedback from sales, customer success, technical support, and clients to shape product backlog development
- Track sprint progress and velocity, report risks proactively, and incorporate user acceptance testing feedback into subsequent iterations
Requirements

- Hands-on working knowledge of DICOM services, DICOMweb, AE Titles configuration, and conformance statements
- Practical knowledge of HL7 v2 triggers such as ADT, ORM, and ORU
- Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams on technical feasibility, high availability, failover, and containerized Linux services
- Practical understanding of cloud infrastructure operations including AWS, containers, infrastructure as code like Terraform and Ansible, networking, and observability tools
- Completion of a mandatory 30-minute online assessment during the application process
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in engineering, business, technology, or equivalent experience
- Experience with medical imaging systems like PACS, VNA, or RIS, or integration engines such as Mirth or NextGen Connect, Rhapsody, and Cloverleaf
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence without hierarchical authority
- Experience defining service level agreements, recovery time and point objectives, or reliability targets for mission-critical systems
- Knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS architectures, tenant isolation, and healthcare data security regulations including HIPAA and GDPR
- Exposure to digital pathology whole slide imaging or high-volume workflows like mammography and large CT exams
