Client Strategy Manager

YipitData, a research and analytics firm serving investment funds and large corporations, is hiring a Client Strategy Manager to help clients make better investment decisions. The position is open to remote work and may be located in New York City, at an office hub, or elsewhere in the country. It is full-time, and the posting says NYC-based salaries apply to US roles regardless of where people work.

The goal is to act as a research partner that clients experience as an extension of their own team. The manager owns client relationships by using product expertise to grow engagement, serving as a thought partner, advocating for client needs across departments, and building account growth and engagement strategies. On the commercial side, the manager builds rapport with key decision makers, manages renewals from start to finish, and finds upsell opportunities that increase contract value. The role works with Business Development Executives and may grow into Business Development or lead a team of its own.

Applicants should bring four or more years of pertinent customer-facing work and an ability to form strategic ties that help with renewals, partner pitches and growth. Also wanted: foresight in spotting useful opportunities for clients, skill handling a demanding, high-volume roster, and a person who works independently yet collaborates well. Genuine interest in investment research and markets is expected.

Expected yearly on-target pay is up to $110,000 in base plus a $40,000 gross retention bonus.
