Job Description

PerfectServe is hiring a Clinical Integration Analyst to join its remote team on a full-time basis. The company provides cloud-based clinical communication and physician scheduling software designed to speed up care delivery, optimize schedules, and automate clinical workflows for hospitals and medical practices. In this role, you will act as a primary technical point of contact for integration projects, linking hospital client systems directly with the PerfectServe platform.

This position will suit professionals with a clinical background and extensive enterprise IT experience who excel at managing technical data feeds and working collaboratively across teams. You will collaborate closely with research and development staff alongside client technical personnel to design, build, test, and troubleshoot integration systems. The position requires participation in an after-hours and 24/7 on-call rotation, plus up to 10 percent travel as needed.

The compensation for this position ranges from $105,000 to $115,000 annually, determined by experience and qualifications. PerfectServe offers a remote-first work environment along with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage starting on day one. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert and contact for internal and external personnel regarding clinical workflows and integration solutions
  • Collaborate with client clinical and technical teams to design and support integration frameworks
  • Partner with the research and development department to build, test, and design backend integration domains
  • Develop HL7 interfaces within the interface engine and build flat-file integrations utilizing Microsoft SQL SSIS packages
  • Coordinate technical resources for the implementation of third-party API integrations
  • Validate incoming data feeds and perform regression testing with every QA and production release
  • Troubleshoot active production integrations and build structured support channels between customer IT staff and PerfectServe
  • Maintain technical documentation, organize sFTP and VPN configurations, and handle interface engine upgrades and failovers
  • Take part in an after-hours on-call rotation schedule and travel up to 10 percent of the time or as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years working in a Clinical IT environment with enterprise-level support and implementation experience
  • Demonstrated background implementing data integrations using HL7 standards along with a strong grasp of hospital operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL Server Management Studio, and Lucidchart
  • Residency within the United States or Canada
  • Willingness to join a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule

Qualifications

  • Clinical degree and licensure at either the Associate or Bachelor level
  • Familiarity with FHIR APIs
  • Experience with WCTP integrations and JSON-based API requests via Swagger or Postman
  • Background working with multiple healthcare IT vendors
