Accesa is establishing a dedicated STACKIT cloud delivery team and is hiring a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to join this initiative from the beginning. The employer is a technology company with two decades of experience operating across sectors such as finance, retail, manufacturing, and banking, supporting clients through full digital evolution journeys with over 1,200 IT professionals.
This role offers the chance to help shape a new cloud capability by contributing to technical choices and taking infrastructure solutions from exploration to implementation. Selected candidates will undergo a structured learning period lasting approximately six to eight weeks through STACKIT University. During this time, they will study alongside an architect and senior DevOps colleagues before applying those skills to build reusable infrastructure and prepare for client delivery projects.
While prior STACKIT experience is advantageous, professionals with a background in AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack and solid infrastructure fundamentals are encouraged to apply. The position is remote and operates on a full-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Build STACKIT knowledge through STACKIT University and hands-on implementation tasks
- Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform or OpenTofu
- Configure cloud networking components including IP addressing, DNS, routing, and firewall rules
- Implement secure access mechanisms, IAM, and access controls
- Deploy and oversee containerized workloads using STACKIT Kubernetes Engine
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems and cloud environments
- Develop and enhance deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to design reusable infrastructure modules and operational documentation
- Contribute to technical discovery and future customer project delivery
Requirements
- Hands-on background in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related fields
- Practical background with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, or STACKIT
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu
- Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting capabilities
- Familiarity with networking concepts including CIDR notation, DNS, routing, and firewalls
- Experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and IAM
- Proficiency with Git, deployment automation, and CI/CD tooling
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or equivalent languages
- Capacity to operate autonomously, take accountability, and join in technical decisions
- Proficient English communication abilities
- Drive to learn STACKIT and contribute to a new delivery team
Qualifications
- Prior background working with STACKIT cloud services
- Experience handling cloud migrations or establishing new cloud environments
- Track record of creating reusable Terraform or OpenTofu modules
- Familiarity with GitOps, Helm, Grafana, and Prometheus
