The enterprise is currently hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Angular) with German language capabilities to join a remote team.
In this capacity, you will support a financial sector client whose operations encompass 150,000 workstations and 4,500 employees. Your daily focus will involve developing applications that handle banking cash transactions, assisting teller staff with withdrawals, deposits, and related processes. The position requires building stable, high-performance interfaces while collaborating with product owners, clients, and fellow engineers, as well as mentoring less senior colleagues and applying artificial intelligence tools to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research, perform assessments, and recommend robust software solutions tailored to client needs
- Ensure the delivery of high-performance code that fulfills all project requirements
- Identify optimization opportunities in existing programs and lead code refactoring initiatives
- Collaborate directly with product owners, team managers, software engineers, and clients
- Provide technical consultancy services to ensure deliverables match requirements
- Mentor colleagues to help them develop their professional skills
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of web application development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript
- Proficiency with Angular, RxJS, Angular Material, SCSS, CSS, and HTML best practices
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance testing, and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of REST principles, client-server communication, and protocols
- Experience working in cross-functional squads within agile Scrum or SAFe environments
- Proficiency in Git version control and Atlassian tools
- Familiarity with extreme programming practices such as TDD, DDD, pair programming, and simple design
- Ability to responsibly utilize AI tools for task automation, decision support, and prompt structuring
Qualifications
- Familiarity with adjacent technologies and frameworks such as NodeJS and Docker
- Experience or willingness to mentor engineers with lower seniority
- Knowledge of application lifecycle management and CI/CD pipelines
- Prior experience dealing with security, UI, and UX aspects
