Accesa is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with React and Node.js to join its remote team. With two decades of industry experience, Accesa partners with major brands across finance, banking, manufacturing, and retail. The organization employs more than 1,200 IT professionals and serves as a technology provider for a leading retail client that builds modern point-of-sale and store operations software for multiple markets.
This position focuses on developing user interfaces, ensuring code quality, and optimizing application performance. Responsibilities
- Build responsive and complex user interfaces using the project framework
- Write testable code, perform code reviews, and implement unit and end-to-end tests
- Manage application state, component structure, and API integrations
- Optimize rendering speeds and overall load times
- Maintain accessibility standards and protect against security vulnerabilities such as XSS
- Ensure consistent performance across multiple devices and browsers
- Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and translate user experience designs into working interfaces
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices for frontend development
Requirements
- Extensive experience working with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL
- Familiarity with PandaCSS for CSS-in-JS
- Experience building component design systems using Storybook
- Testing background with Jest and Playwright
- Implementation and testing of WCAG-aligned accessibility
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, monorepo structures, and Google Cloud
- Experience using Contentful headless CMS and Optimizely for A/B testing
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly for productivity and task automation
- Strong communication skills and an independent, self-driven work approach
