This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai delivers risk-based compliance assurance reviews across Experian's EMAP region. The officer runs assigned reviews, tests controls, documents findings, and works with business owners on remediation plans and action tracking.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assurance reviews against the annual EMAP Compliance Assurance Plan.
- Conduct fieldwork, testing and fact-finding, and keep working papers and review documents.
- Prepare reports on findings, risks and required actions, and agree remediation with owners.
- Track actions to closure, escalate high-risk issues, and record reviews in Archer.
Requirements
- About 3 years of experience in monitoring, testing, assurance or audit within regulatory compliance.
- Good working knowledge of privacy and data protection regulation.
- Strong investigation, analysis and report-writing skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders and work independently.
Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- A professional audit qualification such as ACCA, CIA or CISA is desirable.
