Responsibilities
- Issue certificates of conformity in line with productivity and quality targets.
- Assess product and exporter risk and identify essential requirements and applicable standards.
- Give technical opinions on product standards, classification and certification.
- Help resolve standards, classification and certification cases raised by staff and clients.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Knowledge of product design, manufacturing, testing or product specification.
- Understanding of conformity assessment and industrial standardization concepts.
Qualifications
- Background in medical devices, toys, paper, packaging or textiles is preferred.
- Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000 or ISO/TS 16949.
- Familiarity with standards bodies such as ISO, IEC, EN, ANSI and ASTM.
