This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad designs and supports data replication and migration across cloud and on-premises systems at Experian. The engineer builds AWS ETL and lakehouse pipelines, moves data off legacy estates, and administers the Snowflake platform. The role includes 24x7 operational support for mission-critical data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data replication and migration across AWS DocumentDB, PostgreSQL, DB2 and Snowflake.
- Build and maintain ETL workflows with AWS DMS and Glue, and lead legacy-to-AWS migrations.
- Administer Snowflake, including role-based access, warehouse management and cost control.
- Provide 24x7 support for replication platforms, including incident management and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in data replication, migration and integration engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS DMS, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda and S3-based staging.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and administration, including bulk loading and Snowpipe.
- Working understanding of Apache Hudi or comparable open table formats, and Python or Shell scripting.
Qualifications
- An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred: Snowflake SnowPro Core or Administrator certification, and AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or Data Engineer Associate.
