Responsibilities
- Aggregate regional demands and share final unconstrained demand with source and inventory planning teams
- Facilitate S&OP communication between sales, marketing, production, and management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply advanced forecasting techniques
- Manage inventory by balancing customer demand with stock availability and setting safety stock levels
- Coordinate long-term product business plans with sales and marketing for capacity and resource planning
- Analyze market conditions, price changes, promotions, and trends with sales and marketing for plan corrections
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain management principles and processes
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control methods
- Proficient knowledge in demand forecasting
- Advanced analytical skills for determining optimal stock levels, reorder points, and forecasting
- Advanced forecasting skills for predicting demand, seasonality, and trends
- Proficiency in curating customer and part mix
