Experian seeks a Demand & Software Asset management Specialist II for a full-time position located in Hyderabad. Responsibilities
- Manage software licensing estates for major publishers like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, VMware, and BMC to maintain compliance, track deployments, and handle renewals
- Oversee asset management tasks including inventory consolidation, license usage analysis, and risk mitigation
- Build IT demand pipelines, forecasts, and dashboards to aid budgeting and capacity planning
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Vendor Management, and Technology teams to review proposals and manage technology spend
- Enhance data accuracy, automation, and reporting using tools such as Tanium, CMDB, Intune, and Active Directory
Requirements
- 10 or more years of professional background in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Vendor Management, IT Procurement, or FinOps/TBM
- Hands-on practice managing large software licensing portfolios and vendor relationships within global enterprise environments
- Familiarity with licensing models, audit defense, and contract compliance for vendors including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, VMware/Broadcom, and BMC
- Background working across cloud, virtualized, containerized, and on-premises technology environments
- Proficiency with platforms like Tanium, CMDB, Intune, Active Directory, and data analytics tools
