The individual will manage design projects, establish roadmaps aligned with business objectives, and guide a team of designers while working alongside engineering, product management, and marketing departments.
The role involves maintaining design systems, leading reviews to ensure usability and excellence, and advocating for user testing and research methods. Candidates should be comfortable presenting concepts to stakeholders at all levels, overseeing team performance, and encouraging a collaborative creative atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor design team members through professional development, feedback, and performance tracking.
- Formulate and articulate design strategies and roadmaps that match business goals.

Requirements

- Familiarity with design systems, design principles, and methodologies.
- Background in scaling and building design teams, encompassing hiring and performance management.

- Experience working alongside product, engineering, and business groups in agile environments.
