Bosch is seeking a Development Lead for its Bengaluru location to drive the design, modernization, and technical delivery of enterprise software applications. This full-time, on-site role suits an experienced technologist who can guide engineering teams, establish coding standards, and implement technical solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.
The position involves hands-on development alongside leadership duties, including technical design reviews, code evaluations, mentoring team members, and troubleshooting complex application issues. The lead will work closely with solution architects, product owners, and infrastructure groups to translate functional needs into robust technical frameworks.
Ideal candidates will bring extensive practical background in building and deploying solutions leveraging C#, .NET Core, Microsoft Azure, and advanced MS SQL Server database management. Familiarity with API integrations, DevOps pipelines, and foundational concepts in generative artificial intelligence is essential for identifying modernization opportunities within enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and Angular
- Provide technical guidance to developers throughout the design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support phases
- Conduct code reviews, architectural design assessments, and root-cause analyses for complex issues
- Establish engineering standards and promote SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and maintainable code
- Design and optimize complex Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and T-SQL queries
- Develop and deploy cloud applications using Microsoft Azure with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security
- Design secure RESTful APIs and handle synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
- Drive secure coding practices, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and quality gates
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for the development team and mentor software engineers
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on software development experience within the Microsoft technology stack
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, MS SQL Server, Stored Procedures, and REST APIs
- Practical background developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure
- Experience leading technical delivery and mentoring software development professionals
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices, and Azure DevOps or GitHub
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 12 to 14 years of experience in the software development lifecycle using Microsoft technologies
- Experience leading a team of 6 to 8 developers in a current or past role
- Proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, Azure SQL, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
- Exposure to Docker containers, Azure Functions, microservices, and on-premises to Azure migration
