This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru at Bosch builds middle-layer and application software for Linux-based embedded solutions. The developer writes modern C++ using design patterns, creates UML artifacts, builds multi-threaded code with Linux IPC, and runs unit tests and static analysis within Agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop middle-layer and application software for Linux-based embedded solutions in C++.
- Create UML artifacts such as class, sequence and component diagrams.
- Build multi-threaded applications with Linux IPC such as D-Bus, using proper synchronization.
- Write and run unit tests, support static code analysis, and debug with standard Linux tools.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 and above).
- Hands-on Linux development, including system calls and IPC mechanisms such as D-Bus.
- Experience with GTest and GMock unit testing, plus make, cmake, git, and Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Experience in requirement engineering and Agile software development.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
- Good to have: BLE or Wi-Fi connectivity, database integration and Python scripting.
