Bosch is seeking an embedded C++ developer in Bengaluru to define and drive embedded software architecture for a new generation of HVAC controllers. The role covers firmware for real-time microcontroller software, drivers, control algorithms for temperature and energy management, and communication stacks. It also covers RTOS or bare-metal development, CI/CD for embedded systems and proof-of-concept work. The full-time, on-site position asks for 5 to 8 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end embedded software architecture across drivers, middleware and application layers
- Design solutions across MCU and SoC platforms, RTOS and hardware abstraction layers
- Translate system requirements into technical architecture and lead design reviews
- Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems
Requirements
- Strong embedded C++ development experience
- Proven experience in embedded software architecture and system design
- Hands-on experience with RTOS, drivers, BSP and low-level development
- Experience with secure boot, OTA updates and cybersecurity concepts
Qualifications
- BE, B.Tech, ME or M.Tech with an electronics background
- ISAQB certification is a good-to-have
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and DevOps for embedded systems
