This full-time position focuses on building automation infrastructure, supporting release cycles, and optimizing development workflows. The selected professional will work with build systems, manage source code strategies, and integrate quality and compliance tools into the engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software
- Integrate development, quality, and compliance tools into the software development lifecycle
- Automate build, test, and release processes to boost efficiency and product quality
- Manage source code control, branching strategies, and workflow automation
- Configure and maintain build infrastructure using tools like Jenkins and GitHub
- Incorporate static code analysis, quality gates, security scans, and compliance checks into pipelines
- Support embedded software build systems and tool chains
- Diagnose and resolve build failures, compilation errors, and integration challenges
- Partner with development teams to enhance build performance and productivity
- Write and maintain automation scripts and utilities using Python
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for DevOps and engineering processes
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience
- Strong background in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Strong programming and automation capabilities using Python
- Experience integrating development, quality, and compliance tools into engineering workflows
- Familiarity with software configuration management and version control best practices
- Experience diagnosing and resolving build and integration problems
Qualifications
- BE or ME degree with an electronics background
- Experience within embedded software development environments
- Knowledge of embedded build systems such as CMake or IAR Embedded Workbench
- Experience integrating embedded compiler toolchains into automated build pipelines
- Familiarity with compliance and static code analysis tools like SonarQube, CodeChecker, Polyspace, QAC, or Black Duck
- Ability to debug dependency, linker, and compiler issues
- Familiarity with containerized build environments, Docker, and cloud-based CI/CD platforms
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Knowledge of artifact repository solutions and release management, such as Artifactory
- Experience developing or integrating AI agents for software engineering, DevOps, testing, or operations
