Bosch is seeking a Linux kernel developer to join its team for a full-time, on-site role focusing on embedded Linux solutions. Responsibilities
- Develop Linux embedded solutions and application software
- Configure, customize, and configure the Linux kernel and device trees
- Integrate device drivers into the broader system
- Handle file operations, system calls, interrupt management, and memory management
- Implement synchronization mechanisms including mutexes, semaphores, and spinlocks
- Analyze performance for time-critical modules such as touch components
- Manage the Linux kernel development process using Git for rebasing, commits, and creating patches
- Perform rule checks and mainlining of kernel modules
- Integrate and work with basic communication protocols like UART, I2C, and SPI
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
Requirements
- Proficiency in Linux internals
- Strong background in C programming and shell scripting
- Experience with build environments and cross-compile toolchains
- Knowledge of power management basics
- Familiarity with different processor platforms
