Bosch is hiring an embedded project system architect to define and own the shared technical and architectural vision for systems under development. The role covers defining systems, subsystems and interfaces, evaluating technology options, aligning with platform re-use strategies, and coordinating with hardware and software projects within SAFe and ASPICE processes. It is a full-time, on-site position for 10 to 13 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Define system concepts, scope and technical design specifications
- Create and document scalable system designs that map stakeholder requirements to components
- Translate stakeholder needs into architecture requirements and coordinate system specifications
- Coordinate sub-projects and interfaces with hardware projects and other system architects
Requirements
- 10 to 13 years of experience
- SysML and model-based systems engineering experience with tools such as Enterprise Architect or IBM Rhapsody
- Knowledge of processor architectures, memory sizing and performance budgeting
- Hands-on experience with requirements tools such as DOORS and DNG
Qualifications
- BE or ME in electronics, electrical or computer science
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile and ASPICE processes
- Knowledge of functional safety, SOTIF and FMEA and DRBFM methods
