The role defines and maintains software architecture, reusable platform components and coding standards, and runs architecture reviews. Responsibilities
- Define and maintain software architecture for power tool platforms and variants
- Develop architecture, software frameworks and reusable platform components
- Establish design guidelines, coding standards and architecture governance
- Align software architecture with product roadmaps and provide technical guidance
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Expertise in embedded C, C++ and Python
- Software architecture (ARC42), design patterns, UML and SysML
- Knowledge of RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr and ARM Cortex microcontrollers
Qualifications
- BE, B.Tech or M.Tech in E and C or an equivalent field
- Good to have: AUTOSAR concepts, model-based design and functional safety under IEC 62841
- Good to have: battery management or motor control algorithms
