The advertising division is currently developing Dynamic Product Ads to connect users with relevant merchant items, ranging from golf clubs to specific sunglass models. To support this initiative, the company seeks an Engineering Manager, Product Catalogs to lead the full stack team handling the advertiser experience, application programming interfaces, user interfaces, and backend architecture, while also collaborating with knowledge graph teams to drive organic shopping.
This remote position is open to individuals residing in the United Kingdom or the Netherlands. The role suits a technical leader capable of guiding engineering professionals, establishing service level agreements, and collaborating autonomously with stakeholders primarily located in North America. Responsibilities
- Build and scale a catalog infrastructure capable of supporting billions of products
- Partner with product managers and designers to develop intuitive user interfaces
- Coordinate across ad formats and ad delivery units to facilitate end-to-end product ad deployment
- Define and maintain team service level agreements
- Mentor team members and act as a cross-functional advocate
- Contribute to future team strategy and planning sessions
Requirements
- At least seven years of background in backend or full stack product engineering
- Minimum of two years of experience leading engineering teams
- Ability to operate independently and make decisions while collaborating with North American stakeholders
