Canonical seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee a team collaborating with top-tier cloud providers like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google to refine Ubuntu for their infrastructure. Canonical is an open-source software and operating system provider best known for Ubuntu, which powers major enterprise initiatives spanning public cloud, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and data science.

In this position, you will lead engineers in building, testing, and publishing core Ubuntu images to guarantee security and performance for cloud users. The role combines direct partner engagement, team mentorship, and hands-on technical contributions. You will participate in code reviews, drive architectural decisions, and champion reliable automation pipelines for image delivery.
