Job Description
Toptal runs a worldwide network that helps companies scale teams on demand, and it reports more than $200 million in annual revenue. This full-time Enterprise Sales Executive role serves the CP&S vertical, which covers consumer goods and retail, in the United States. The executive identifies, develops and closes opportunities with large consumer products and retail organizations, tackling their business challenges with technology, marketing, consulting and AI-enabled transformation. The position suits sellers who enjoy building accounts from nothing and creating lasting value for clients.
The job is remote with concentrated field work along the East Coast of the United States. Applicants living on the Eastern seaboard, or within an easy commute of a major city there, are preferred. The executive answers to the General Manager running the CP&S vertical. Duties include building a portfolio by prospecting for new clients, then passing signed clients to Client Partners for expansion. Early-stage deals often involve mid-level stakeholders and need a direct, transactional style, while larger relationships call for consultative engagement with C-suite leaders. The executive also sets account plans, manages pipeline and forecasts, and works alongside the Pre-Sales Solutions and Delivery groups.
The portfolio ramps over nine to twelve months, after which performance is measured on $10 million in annualized gross sales. Pay is a base salary with monthly commissions tied to revenue from engagements sold. Trips to see clients, conferences and internal gatherings are expected about 25 to 40 percent of the time.
The posting asks for seven to ten or more years in professional services, with sales experience managing enterprise accounts and selling solutions, ideally in retail, consumer packaged goods, food or grocery. A record of managing an annualized gross portfolio of $5 million or more and closing complex, multi-phase deals of $250,000 or more with enterprises earning $2 billion or more is required. A bachelor's degree is required.
