Dinson Steel is seeking twenty Excavator Operators to join operations in Zimbabwe. This role involves utilizing excavators and additional heavy earthmoving machinery to assist with construction, excavation, material handling, and mining tasks. Selected personnel will maintain safe operating conditions, track machine performance, and collaborate with surrounding workers and drivers.
This position is well-suited for safety-conscious professionals with practical background operating heavy machinery within heavy industrial, quarrying, construction, or mining settings. Candidates must be physically capable of handling demanding industrial conditions and available to work shifts, which may encompass weekends and extended hours.
Responsibilities
- Check machine performance and promptly report mechanical defects or faults
- Adhere to proper operating procedures to reduce equipment downtime and damage
- Collaborate alongside truck drivers, mining personnel, and fellow machine operators
- Comply with all environmental, health, and occupational safety regulations
- Keep the operating area properly cleaned and organized
