Job Description
Wise is recruiting a Finance Senior Manager to build out financial planning and analysis for Wise Platform in London. Wise Platform supplies APIs that support payroll, expense claims and invoice payments for businesses. This is a newly created role, added because demand for dedicated finance focus on the platform has grown.
The manager owns financial reporting and forecasting for the platform. This includes leading the monthly financial review with leaders across the business, explaining performance against forecast, and turning detailed financial data into clear messages for senior stakeholders. The work connects finance with analytics, sales, product and operations teams.
The role owns the forecasting methodology and gathers inputs from across the P&L. The manager builds integrated financial models from scratch, closes gaps that reduce forecast accuracy, and works with Revenue Operations on payback models across regions and teams. The manager also contributes to the five-year long-range plan and leads finance transformation work, such as process redesign and new planning tools.
The posting looks for strong commercial finance experience, ideally in B2B fintech or financial services, and the ability to build trust among senior finance directors and VPs. Candidates from other sectors are considered if they can show the technical skills the role needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly financial review for Wise Platform and present performance against forecast.
- Own the forecasting methodology and gather inputs from across the P&L.
- Build integrated financial models from the ground up.
- Find and fix gaps in the forecast to improve its accuracy.

Requirements
- Seven or more years in strategic planning (FP&A), corporate finance or adjacent work.
- A record of constructing intricate forecasts and presenting them to senior leaders.
- Deep financial modelling skills, including building integrated models without a template.
- B2B commercial finance experience, ideally in fintech or financial services.
- Clear communication of complex ideas in presentations, models and conversations.
- Effective stakeholder management with senior finance leaders, bringing clarity and credibility.
- Good judgement in separating what matters from background noise, and the influence to bring teams along.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python and dashboard tools.
- Experience using AI tools for financial analysis.
- Background in high-growth technology or financial services.
