Job Description
Ebury is offering a hybrid internship in its finance function, based in Leon, Malaga or Madrid in Spain. Interns spend four days in the office and work from home one day a week. The post fits someone beginning a finance career who wants practical experience inside a global fintech, guided by experienced accountants from the outset.
The work centres on expense administration across more than 30 Ebury legal entities. The intern helps senior accountants check, process and match staff expense claims, compares receipts with the global expense policy to flag potential breaches, and tracks approval steps and payment timing so repayments are made on schedule. The intern may also help manage corporate purchase cards under supervision, answer basic staff questions about claims and expense software, and assist the wider finance team with paperwork and routine checks at month-end.
Applicants should be students or recent graduates, with a degree that covers accounting, finance, economics and business administration, or a closely connected discipline, with advanced Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables.
