Job Description
Ebury is hiring a Junior People Operations Advisor for its People Operations team in Santiago. The role is hybrid, with four days in the office and one day working from home each week. As the company expands quickly, the advisor will take on day-to-day HR operations across the organisation and report to the People Operations Manager, who is based in Malaga.
Core duties include preparing, sending and updating contracts and addenda in line with local legislation, and checking that required documents are requested and kept. The advisor will answer questions and tickets raised by staff, people partners and colleagues in other departments through a ticketing system, which can mean producing reports, answering questions or updating records. Other duties include keeping the People Operations head informed on staffing matters, escalating serious issues quickly to the Head of HR, keeping employee data and absence records accurate in the HR system, and tracking global mobility moves, including contract and tax considerations, with the People Partnering team. The role also involves regular documentation audits, supporting background screening reports, responding to local authorities and supporting internal and external audits.
The posting asks for one year of HR experience with advisory duties, or strong administrative skills, in a fast-paced environment. The advisor should be responsive, organised and results-oriented, with excellent written and interpersonal English. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, and Portuguese is a plus.
