Wise is building an AML Investigations team in Kuala Lumpur and is hiring a Team Lead to head it. The team is part of a larger group spread across five offices worldwide. Investigators review payment activity to spot suspicious behaviour, which helps Wise stay compliant.
The lead manages people and also designs how the work gets done. The job covers building sound operational processes, allocating tasks, arranging training and managing performance. The aim is to meet regulatory obligations and manage risk, keep quality high, and deliver a good customer experience within a tightly controlled cost base.
The lead is accountable for team KPIs and service level agreements, and for growing a team that feels like a close community. Documenting processes and projects in the lead's area is part of the role. The lead also works with other team leads, product teams and compliance colleagues to manage the operational effect of changes and to find ways to improve customer experience, add automation or gain efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Build, lead and develop an AML operations team in Kuala Lumpur.

Requirements
