The Firefox Enterprise division is a dedicated unit focused on delivering secure browsers and infrastructure control to business and government clients.
Mozilla is hiring a Firefox Enterprise Partnership Lead (DACH) to expand its strategic partner ecosystem across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Depending on the candidate's level of experience, this position may be filled as a Strategic Partnerships Manager or a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager. This is a hands-on role involving close collaboration with cloud providers, technology firms, public-sector entities, open-source organizations, and system integrators. Ideal candidates will build commercial models, drive co-selling initiatives, and negotiate strategic partner agreements.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with selected technology, cloud, public-sector, integration, and service partners across the DACH region
- Identify and qualify prospective partners based on revenue potential, technical capabilities, delivery capacity, and customer access
- Map out each partner's key decision-makers, objectives, capabilities, customers, and anticipated contributions
- Develop joint strategic plans with defined goals, timelines, responsibilities, and next steps for each partner
- Translate partner discussions into concrete use cases, pilots, integrations, customer opportunities, or joint offerings
- Construct business cases and commercial models addressing pricing, partner incentives, revenue sharing, support, and delivery tasks
- Collaborate with internal leadership, Legal, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to negotiate partner agreements
- Drive partner-led revenue through reseller activities, co-selling, customer introductions, and joint account planning
- Coordinate joint marketing initiatives including events, campaigns, market announcements, content, and customer stories
- Monitor partner performance, commitments, pipeline status, and risks, and provide progress reports to leadership
Requirements
- Professional background in strategic partnerships, business development, alliances, channel management, or key account management within B2B technology
- Demonstrated experience developing at least one partnership from initial contact through to a signed agreement or active joint project
- Experience negotiating commercial terms such as commissions, pricing, reseller conditions, and revenue-sharing structures
- Experience constructing business cases that measure partner economics, customer value, costs, and revenue potential
- Experience managing professional relationships with both operational teams and senior decision-makers
- Technical comprehension sufficient to discuss enterprise software, deployment models, integrations, and support duties with specialists
- Ability to establish structure and measurable momentum in evolving or undefined partner environments
- Native-level fluency in German alongside advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel throughout the DACH region, occasionally work with U.S. time zones, and represent Mozilla's open-source and privacy-focused mission
