The Enterprise AI division functions with the autonomy and pace of a startup, placing professionals directly into challenging environments where they define new industry practices.
The organization seeks a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to join its Los Angeles team on an on-site basis, requiring physical attendance three to five days weekly depending on client needs. This professional will guide large institutions through complex digital transformations, managing the entire lifecycle of generative artificial intelligence implementations from initial conception to production scale. Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with customers to discover high-value opportunities, manage ambiguity, and translate business challenges into technical strategies
- Architect and construct production-ready artificial intelligence systems encompassing multi-agent workflows, context engineering, tool usage, memory states, and retrieval-augmented generation
- Manage end-to-end project outcomes from preliminary discovery through final deployment, ensuring measurable impact and real-world results
- Oversee continuous evaluation, latency, security, guardrails, reliability, scalability, and cost control for delivered systems
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to senior business executives and corporate stakeholders under pressure
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of professional background creating and maintaining complex software products
- Proven expertise in Python, databases, backend infrastructure, application programming interfaces, distributed architectures, and cloud environments
- Demonstrated hands-on history designing production language model and multi-agent workflows
- Track record of driving complete systems from architectural planning to large-scale deployment
- Availability to work in person at client locations in the Los Angeles area three to five days per week
