Job Description
Caylent is an AI-first cloud services company operating globally that functions as an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and a charter member of the Claude Partner Network. The firm assists organizations in moving artificial intelligence initiatives from experimentation into production through generative and agentic AI, cloud modernization, data engineering, and DevOps. Within the Anthropic Consulting and Engineering practice, the company seeks a Forward Deployed Product Manager to own product workstreams during client engagements.
In this position, you will operate directly inside client product and engineering departments. Responsibilities include conducting current-state evaluations, designing future-state product delivery life cycles, coaching product teams on AI-assisted workflows, scoping prototypes, and shaping delivery backlogs into Sprint Charters. The role suits professionals who thrive on client-facing consulting assignments rather than long-term internal roadmaps, as engagements eventually conclude with a handoff.
Candidates must possess substantial professional experience in product management alongside client-facing skills. The position offers a base salary range of CAD 155,000 to CAD 170,000 per year, accompanied by extensive benefits including pension matching, unlimited vacations, and professional development support.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product workstream end-to-end on enterprise transformation programs by assessing client operations and designing future-state product delivery life cycles
- Coach client product managers on transitioning from spec authors to strategic orchestrators of AI-assisted development
- Anchor the product side of prototype and build-enable engagements by running discovery and creating signed Sprint Charters
- Draft execution specifications that drive prototype and minimum viable product development
- Design training curricula and lead enablement sessions for client product teams
- Identify account expansion opportunities during client delivery engagements
- Contribute to the refinement of product-facing agents and specification artifacts deployed across projects
- Participate in pre-sales conversations involving product definition, sprint structure, or maturity assessments
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of product management experience, including time in client-facing, embedded, or consulting roles
- Demonstrated background working directly with product teams on discovery processes, life cycle design, and specification practices
- Capability in applying agentic artificial intelligence to facilitate product management tasks
- Strong facilitation skills to run working sessions and drive toward decisions with stakeholders
- Ability to write clean, executable specifications for deliverables and client coaching
- Technical fluency to scope prototypes with engineers and evaluate architectural feasibility
- Current legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located
Qualifications
- Background in professional services, management consulting, or an embedded advisory role
- Experience redesigning product functions inside other organizations beyond offering recommendations
- Familiarity with AI-native product workflows such as specification-driven development and LLM-assisted requirements generation
- Experience within private equity portfolio company environments or enterprise engineering organizations
- Hands-on familiarity with Claude Code or comparable AI-assisted development tooling
Core Skills
Benefits
- Equitable Life Hybrid Plan with 100 percent premium coverage for employees and dependents
- Competitive phantom equity
- Long-term disability coverage
- Four percent pension match via employer contribution
- Unlimited vacations
- Sick leave and paid holidays
- Parental leave
- Coverage for exams and certifications
- Peer bonus awards
- State-of-the-art laptop, tools, equipment, and office stipend
