The organization is currently hiring a part-time, salaried Virtual Physician to deliver remote medical consultations for individuals pursuing prescription weight management care.
In this role, practitioners participate in the comprehensive Body Program, which pairs eligible patients with GLP-1 treatments, progress monitoring, educational resources, and nurse coaching. Clinicians perform evaluations, prescribe therapies, and offer guidance through phone, video, or asynchronous methods via a custom electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities
- Perform patient consultations through phone, video, or asynchronous formats depending on state telemedicine guidelines
- Utilize a custom EMR platform to review patient records, establish diagnoses, prescribe medications, and provide lifestyle advice
- Adhere to internal policies and industry best practices regarding documentation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Address patient inquiries concerning treatment plans and deliver thorough counseling
- Participate in the Body Program combining GLP-1 therapies with coaching and progress tracking
Requirements
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Minimum of two years of post-residency experience
- Possess at least 10 active state medical licenses
- Hold active medical licenses in at least one of California, Florida, New York, Texas, or Georgia
- Hold active medical licenses in at least one of Virginia, Kansas, Minnesota, Delaware, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wyoming
- Commit to working four five-hour shifts covering Saturday and Sunday daytime hours along with Monday and Tuesday evenings
- Willingness to acquire additional state licenses based on organizational requirements
Qualifications
- Board certification in Obesity Medicine or board eligibility with an intention to take the exam in 2026
- Prior telemedicine background and familiarity with asynchronous care delivery
- Background working with weight management or GLP-1 medications
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility or active status
- Bonus state licenses in Arkansas, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts
