Robinhood operates an entity called Robinhood Derivatives, which concentrates on futures, options on futures, and event contracts. The organization is currently seeking a Futures & Prediction Markets Operations Intern to join the Chicago office for the Summer 2027 term. This position requires on-site attendance at least three days per week.
In this capacity, the intern will perform daily duties to maintain efficient operations for the futures and prediction markets business. Responsibilities include handling clearing and settlement tasks, analyzing trade and position reconciliations, resolving trading issues, and reviewing regulatory compliance reports. The role involves setting up initial operational workflows, tools, and documentation, as well as interacting with third-party clearing firms, exchanges, and vendors. Additionally, the intern will collaborate closely with internal departments such as Risk, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Experience.
This opportunity is well-suited for students who are curious about derivatives, the futures market, and back-office clearing. Responsibilities
- Review operational reports and assist with daily operational tasks

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Finance, Business or a related field
- Expected graduation date in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
- Demonstrated history of operational excellence and problem-solving
