The organization is currently seeking a Global Operational Excellence Manager to champion service excellence, operational discipline, performance management, and continuous improvement across global business services operations. This role suits an experienced professional who can establish a common operational excellence framework, partner closely with leadership teams, and build sustainable Lean operating methods.
The person in this position will design and implement minimum operating standards, governance routines, and operational controls while conducting periodic maturity assessments. Key duties involve defining standardized operational key performance indicators, embedding Lean principles into daily management routines, and facilitating root-cause analysis and problem-solving workshops. Additionally, the individual will support capacity planning, workforce management, business continuity planning, and capability building across teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the global business services operational excellence framework
- Define and standardize operational key performance indicators in partnership with process owners and operations
- Embed Lean principles, daily management practices, and visual management tools into routine operations
- Facilitate process mapping, root-cause analysis, waste identification, and problem-solving workshops
- Establish structured approaches for identifying, documenting, and resolving operational issues and incidents
- Support operations in capacity planning, workload management, and tracking workforce performance metrics
- Collaborate with risk, technology, and operations stakeholders to maintain business continuity plans
- Coach managers and teams on operational excellence principles, tools, and capability building
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related discipline
- At least eight years of experience in finance shared service centers and global business services operations
- Minimum of five years of experience in operational excellence with exposure to global cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven background in leading operational excellence, continuous improvement, performance management, or business transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience coaching leaders and embedding operational excellence principles into daily management practices
- Experience working in a multinational corporation or large matrixed organization
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or an equivalent advanced qualification
- Lean Six Sigma certification at the Green Belt or Black Belt level
