This hands-on builder position focuses on ownership of a portfolio of ZT1 initiatives without any direct people management duties.
The role centers on creating and launching new products and platforms, guiding the full lifecycle from discovery to iteration. The professional in this position will partner with engineering, analytics, design, revenue, and business teams to bring innovative offerings to market. Responsibilities include defining product vision and strategy, utilizing AI prototyping tools, and conducting end-to-end experimentation. Candidates must be comfortable operating independently in highly ambiguous environments and possess strong commercial instincts.
This is a remote position available exclusively to individuals living in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan. The annual base salary range spans from CAD 209,000 to 269,000, which forms part of a total compensation package including equity rewards, monthly spending stipends, and comprehensive health coverage.
Responsibilities
- Connect customer insights and market trends to long-term company strategy for zero-to-one innovation
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to establish problem spaces and prioritize product roadmaps
- Define success metrics tied to business impact such as GMV, profitability, conversion, and retention
- Manage the complete lifecycle for new products and platforms from discovery and validation to launch
- Build and iterate on working prototypes utilizing AI tools and write customer-facing product copy
- Conduct independent customer behavior analysis, build funnels, and lead end-to-end experimentation
- Lead cross-functional groups spanning engineering, design, data, risk, capital, and compliance
- Establish product patterns, decision frameworks, and execution standards for zero-to-one development
Requirements
- Possess approximately 8 to 10 or more years of product management experience with a track record of shipping consumer-facing or platform products
- Demonstrate previous end-to-end ownership of technical software products with clear articulation of business impact
- Show direct experience leading zero-to-one or highly ambiguous product areas with meaningful outcomes
- Bring hands-on fluency with AI tools for prototyping, design, content, and analysis
- Exhibit strong communication and stakeholder management skills to align senior leaders and engineering teams without direct authority
