Job Description
Spotify is hiring a Growth Manager for its SAMEA Growth team, part of Markets and Subscriptions, based in Istanbul. The job centers on helping listeners discover, choose and keep Spotify Premium in the Middle East and North Africa, plus Turkey, Pakistan and CIS countries (the posting's MENAT+ label). The manager would partner with on-the-ground market teams and peers in Marketing, Product, Data and Commercial.
The manager would own delivery of Premium growth initiatives in selected MENAT+ markets. This covers building and launching lifecycle messaging through email, push alerts and in-app messages, from brief to rollout and tuning. The manager would also look for ways to lift acquisition, conversion and retention by studying listener behavior, campaign results and subscription trends.
Other work includes teaming up with Marketing, Music and local groups on paid media, artist partnerships and local campaigns, and working with agencies on social and other online channels. The manager would design, run and evaluate A/B tests, and team up with the Product, Data Science and Payments groups to try new features. Business cases, shared playbooks and AI-assisted analysis are part of the job.
Candidates should have four or more years in growth, digital marketing or related work at a consumer-focused digital company, with hands-on CRM and lifecycle experience. They should know how to read A/B tests and understand CLV, the cost to win a subscriber, and gross margin. The role requires English plus Arabic or Turkish, with French and SQL listed as advantages.
