Responsibilities
- Own hardware lifecycle maintenance, design updates and obsolescence management
- Lead field failure analysis with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Assess supplier-initiated changes, PCNs and component changes for impact
- Lead engineering change (ECN) evaluation and implementation
Requirements
- 8 to 12+ years in automotive electronics hardware, with strong series or lifecycle experience
- Proven field failure analysis, root-cause analysis and 8D problem solving
- Knowledge of PCN, EOL and supplier-initiated changes
- Experience with ECN, BOM management and hardware documentation
Qualifications
- BE degree
- Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262
- Experience with automotive controllers and series production support
