Job Description
Zopa is seeking a Head of Marketing Analytics in London to run the analytics team that supports its marketing, customer relationship and growth work. The post is full time and hybrid, with two to three days each week in the London office.
The employer describes the function as one that is still taking shape. The new head will help define what analytics should look like in the coming years, improve team routines and methods, and make Marketing Analytics a strategic input for growth, customer value and investment choices.
Day to day, the work means helping Marketing, CRM and Growth colleagues decide on acquisition activity, understand engagement, test ideas and choose where marketing budget goes. The leader sets measurement standards for acquisition and lifecycle programmes and owns an attribution approach suited to a mix of acquisition channels.
The post suits a senior analytics professional with hands-on experience measuring mobile apps, including attribution, paid acquisition and tracking how installs convert into activation and retention, and then into lifetime value. Someone who has developed analysts, can move between boardroom discussion and detailed analysis, and works well in a setting that is still changing would fit well.

- Advise senior stakeholders on difficult marketing and growth questions
- Convert business questions into analysis that prompts decisions
- Lead and coach a group of four analysts who focus on marketing

- Design an attribution model suited to acquisition across many channels
- Set the long-term direction for the analytics function
- Strengthen the processes and methods the function relies on
- Use evidence to shape acquisition and spending choices
- Work with Marketing, Growth, Analytics and product colleagues
- Keep analytical output rigorous and useful to the commercial side
Requirements
- Hands-on mobile app measurement, including attribution, paid acquisition tracking and following installs into activation, retention and lifetime value or comparable metrics
- Solid background in marketing, growth, customer or lifecycle analytics, with exposure to measurement across the full funnel
- Experience developing analysts and leading them through growth
- A history of making an analytics function more mature rather than only keeping existing processes running
- Enough technical depth to question methods and review analytical work
- Credibility with senior leaders in marketing and analytics
- Comfort working in an environment that keeps changing
Qualifications
- Agency experience in marketing or media
- Hands-on time with acquisition attribution, CRM tooling, next-best-action and lifetime-value models
- Practice in marketing mix modelling and multi-touch attribution methods
- Having led analytics transformation or capability-building programmes
- Time spent in fast-growing companies that are still building analytics
- Financial services or fintech exposure
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools and approaches
Benefits
- Flexible working arrangements
- Working overseas for as many as 120 days a year, if the right to work applies in that country
