In this senior individual contributor role, you will take charge of inventory planning, replenishment, and forecasting for a specific portion of the business portfolio. This hands-on position requires close collaboration with merchandising, sourcing, vendor, and technology teams to design automated forecasting solutions. Responsibilities
- Generate weekly forecasts at the style-color-size level to meet inventory turn, return on investment, and in-stock targets
- Coordinate with internal sourcing specialists and external vendors to optimize availability
- Partner with technology teams to design and deploy automated, integrated forecasting tools
- Perform analytics and root-cause evaluations to discover areas for key performance indicator enhancement
- Model supplier agreements, relationship terms, and risk factors alongside the sourcing team
- Develop short- and long-term replenishment plans that support overarching business strategies
- Deliver weekly performance updates and strategy reviews to executive leadership
- Supervise and guide one or more team members as the planning department expands
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional background in merchandising, inventory planning, or related analytical and technology functions
- Advanced proficiency with Excel statistical functions
- Fluency using Google Suite tools and working with large data volumes
- Experience developing inventory optimization prototypes and translating insights into scalable technology
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
- Capacity to operate effectively in a rapid, evolving setting where established frameworks might be absent

- Senior manager level experience or above, with director-level background preferred
