Bosch Rexroth India is seeking an Engineer - Testing to join the team in Ahmedabad. This position focuses on executing testing assignments, managing test specimens, and handling test setup materials with precision. The ideal candidate will support product development initiatives through hands-on involvement with prototype hydraulic products and testing infrastructure.
The role involves preparing test reports and agreements, maintaining the 5S environment on the test bench, monitoring energy consumption, and performing maintenance or repairs on hydraulic items. Key technical duties include operating test benches, gathering data with measurement tools, conducting magnetic particle testing, and evaluating specimens for fatigue strength and general functionality.
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned testing tasks with diligence and precision
- Coordinate daily tasks and priorities alongside the supervisor
- Implement and carry out various testing procedures
- Track and provide regular updates on testing progress
- Manage test specimens and required setup materials
- Prepare formal test reports and agreements
- Repair hydraulic products and handle prototype assembly or disassembly
- Operate test benches and configure test setups
- Collect data using specialized measurement instruments
- Analyze test specimens to check functionality and fatigue strength
- Perform magnetic particle testing
- Maintain 5S standards in the test bench area and monitor energy use
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Possess one to two years of practical experience working with hydraulic products
