Bosch seeks a Cost Engineer Electronics for a full-time position located on-site in Bengaluru. This role focuses on supporting product development teams during early design phases by establishing target cost models and financial simulations to achieve proactive cost control and avoidance.
The successful candidate will perform and optimize greenfield and brownfield cost calculations for purchasing and sourcing teams to enhance cost competitiveness. Responsibilities also include translating technical changes into financial impacts, challenging supplier pricing, driving process automation, improving data accuracy for digitalization targets, and standardizing cost analysis methods for the semiconductor division.

Responsibilities
- Support and establish target cost models and financial simulations for product development teams during early design phases
- Perform and optimize greenfield and brownfield cost calculations for purchasing and sourcing teams
- Evaluate and translate technical changes into cost impacts for cross-functional stakeholders and purchasing teams
- Challenge supplier pricing to achieve cost transparency and reduction
- Drive and enable process automation and data accuracy improvements for cost engineering teams
- Evaluate and standardize cost analysis methods for the semiconductor division
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or relevant experience
- Knowledge of electronics components manufacturing
- Knowledge of printed circuit board manufacturing
