Job Description
Bosch is seeking an assistant manager or senior engineer to implement digitalisation projects on manufacturing shop floors. The role involves building data pipelines from machine-level sources to analysis platforms, introducing future-ready technologies such as generative AI and AI agents on production lines, and resolving MES technical issues. It is a full-time, on-site position for candidates with 3 to 5 years of shop floor digitalisation experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with shop floor leaders to find pain points and build digital solutions
- Build data pipelines from machine field elements to the analysis platform
- Troubleshoot digital solutions in processes and resolve MES issues on machines
- Support digitalisation for blue-collar associates on the shop floor
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of digitalisation experience in the manufacturing domain
- Good coding skills in Python, Java or similar languages
- Working experience with the MAP platform and Azure Databricks
- Understanding of NEXEED or PROMASTER MES user menus and data structures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in computer engineering, electronics and telecommunication, or similar
- Experience with devicebridge and Power Platform
- Ability to work with GenAI tools, n8n or Copilot AI agents
- Ability to understand manufacturing processes and work in cross-functional teams
