Wise is hiring a full-time Internal Audit Senior Specialist for technology risk, listed in Hyderabad as on-site. The role is part of a newly created Internal Audit team with a global remit. The specialist coordinates the internal audit process inside Wise and with partner firms outside it, and makes recommendations to improve oversight, risk handling and internal control design.
The specialist plans, assigns and supervises the team's operational work, and collaborates with regional audit teams to assemble material for internal and outside reporting, including audit committee papers. Key tasks include helping run the assurance framework, adding ongoing monitoring and automated audit checks, helping develop the annual IT audit plan with heavy use of data, delivering audits to time with analytics that add impact, and tracking whether audit recommendations are implemented and effective. Because the team is new, the specialist will also help shape its operating model, methodology and approach, and help build a strong, self-sufficient IT audit function.
The posting seeks a specialist in tech risk, controls and assurance, with a focus on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Specialist knowledge of tech risk and controls, with a focus on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience in technology, fintech or financial services

- Strong coordination and accountability for deadlines
- Practical background in assurance, risk or control positions, mainly IT controls in cloud settings
- Proven record of automation and analytics that deliver impact
Qualifications
