This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru at Bosch provides IT infrastructure and application operations for manufacturing (Industry 4.0) applications. The engineer deploys and configures containerized applications on Kubernetes, troubleshoots incidents, monitors availability and supports customers under defined service levels, with shift work and occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure and hotfix container-based manufacturing applications on Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing IT application and infrastructure incidents.
- Monitor system performance and application availability against defined service levels.
- Support migrations and plant-specific configurations, and provide on-call readiness.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Kubernetes core concepts, Docker and containerization, and Istio service mesh knowledge.
- Scripting in Bash and YAML, and Linux command-line skills.
- ITIL service management knowledge covering incident, change and problem management.
Qualifications
- A B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech or MCA.
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification is preferred.
