Job Description
Ebury's London Victoria office is hiring a junior client portfolio manager. The post is full time and onsite and is aimed at someone who hopes to move into dealing or portfolio management later on. The holder takes responsibility for a group of corporate accounts, supports their daily operations and trading, and works to deepen those relationships while introducing the wider Ebury range.
In a customer-facing capacity, the manager represents Ebury's products and service, copes with heavy workload periods, and resolves client problems as they surface by working with colleagues across the business. The book includes around 300 clients who trade online through the EBO platform. Alongside daily support, the manager watches for commercial openings, for example when a client's currency needs change or when a new product development could help them.
Applicants should be genuinely interested in sales and client service, have a working grasp of foreign exchange, and communicate well in writing and speaking. A drive to exceed client expectations, and comfort with figures such as exchange rates and margins, will help. The posting also reports that, in 2021, Glassdoor and AltFi ranked Ebury among Europe's top 15 fintech employers. Ebury itself was founded in 2009.
