Welo Global brand Welocalize is seeking a Kazakh Localization QA Tester / Proofreader for a long-term position without a specified end date. The company delivers AI-enabled multilingual content solutions across more than 300 languages, utilizing automation and human expertise alongside its patented Opal Platform to help enterprises scale globally.
In this role, the linguistic tester will review and refine Kazakh content to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and cultural alignment. Responsibilities include executing test cases, navigating user interfaces, identifying localization bugs, and verifying resolved fixes using internal tracking systems. Occasionally, the professional will also translate English content into Kazakh.

Responsibilities
- Write and report relevant bugs and errors through the internal database system
- Perform quality assurance on various products by following testing instructions and test cases
- Discover and report defects utilizing client-specific bug-tracking tools
- Evaluate translations within the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation
- Research and resolve linguistic questions as a subject matter expert for Kazakh from Kazakhstan
- Adhere to project quality standards, style guides, trademarks, glossaries, and client checklists
- Troubleshoot basic problems, communicate effectively, and escalate testing issues
- Complete all assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Translate content from English into Kazakh when required
- Explore user interfaces to uncover functional and localization problems
Requirements
- Native language skills and cultural awareness of Kazakh and Kazakhstan
