The organization seeks a Lead Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, on-site position located in Torrance, California. This role suits an experienced technician with a background in leadership who wants to guide daily pharmacy operations, support team members, and ensure high standards of safety and efficiency.

In this capacity, you will oversee a team of pharmacy technicians, provide training and coaching, and help manage scheduling and staffing needs. You will serve as the primary operational point of contact on the floor, working directly with pharmacy automation equipment and collaborating with pharmacists and cross-functional teams to resolve order and shipping issues. Responsibilities also include monitoring regulatory compliance, maintaining an inspection-ready workspace, and participating in continuous workflow improvements.

This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate holidays, paid time off, and staffing coverage, with at least two weeks of advance notice provided for schedule shifts. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians through coaching, real-time feedback, and performance support
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing skills development to maintain standard operating procedures
  • Support scheduling and staffing to guarantee adequate shift coverage and workflow continuity
  • Ensure accurate and efficient picking, packing, and shipping execution within established timelines
  • Act as the primary contact for operational issues on the floor and escalate concerns to leadership
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and operations, care, and product teams to resolve order and shipping challenges
  • Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation machinery to support order volume
  • Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout fulfillment operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating workflows and implementing enhancements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready workspace
  • Assist with order processing and technician duties to meet volume demands
  • Perform additional operational tasks assigned by pharmacy leadership

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
  • Comfort working with pharmacy automation equipment and technology-driven workflows
  • Flexibility to occasionally shift workdays to cover holidays, PTO, or staffing needs
