As an Operations Supervisor based in Romeoville, Illinois, you will oversee daily activities within the pharmacy fulfillment team on a full-time basis. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding pharmacy technicians, maintaining compliance standards, utilizing and troubleshooting automation equipment, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to guarantee accurate prescription processing and timely shipments.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of pharmacy technicians to build a high-performing culture
- Supervise technician onboarding, training, and adherence to standard operating procedures
- Manage scheduling and staffing to guarantee shift coverage and workflow continuity
- Ensure accurate and efficient picking, packing, and shipping of prescription and non-prescription medications
- Serve as the primary floor contact for daily operational issues and escalate concerns to leadership
- Work closely with pharmacists and teams across operations, care, and product to solve shipping problems
- Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation machinery to maintain optimal performance
- Monitor safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the fulfillment workflow
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help implement workflow enhancements
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and prepared for inspections
- Assist directly with order processing and technician duties as required by volume demands
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of people management experience in an operations, fulfillment, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, or high-volume environment
- Experience conducting performance evaluations, coaching personnel, and overseeing daily operational performance
- Flexibility to adjust scheduled workdays occasionally to cover holidays, PTO, or staffing needs with at least two weeks of advance notice
Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license within a defined timeframe
- Willingness to obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) within a defined timeframe
