Job Description
This full-time, on-site lead engineering role is in the United States and focuses on Salesforce and full-stack development. The lead engineer owns features from design to production, linking front-end screens, service endpoints, business rules, data structures and connectors. The posting places heavy emphasis on working in an AI-native way, using coding assistants across the development lifecycle while keeping engineering standards high.
Core work covers building modern front-end experiences with components and responsive design, along with backend services and APIs built on disciplined object-oriented and design-pattern practice. On Salesforce-based work, the engineer uses Lightning Web Components, Apex, SOQL and SOSL, Flows and the platform security model. Support is offered for engineers who are new to Salesforce, and the posting mentions MuleSoft as part of the integration landscape.
Integration and automation are significant. The role designs REST-based and event-driven integrations and explores agentic and AI-powered features, such as those built with Agent Builder, that automate business processes with suitable governance and human checks. The lead engineer is also expected to join pipeline automation, test automation, peer reviews and Agile meetings, and to lift engineering standards across the team.
Candidates are expected to bring over ten years of full-stack practice, a technical degree, and routine reliance on AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or GitHub Copilot. The employer is a search AI company used by more than half of the Fortune 500.
