SGS is hiring a Management System Auditor - Auto/EE to execute complete audit cycles for clients, operating either independently or as part of a team. This role focuses on automotive and electrical management systems, specifically adhering to relevant standards and regulations.
The position requires performing desk reviews of client management systems, generating checklists and itineraries, and executing on-site evaluations. Successful candidates will manage audit documentation, field inquiries regarding system standards, update client records, and finalize comprehensive reporting packages. Additionally, professionals in this position may review or adapt training materials, deliver specific training programs, and mentor auditors currently in training.
Personnel must maintain ethical practices aligned with company integrity codes and adhere strictly to all internal quality, health, safety, environment, and energy policies. This includes completing mandatory safety training, participating in relevant initiatives, addressing workplace emergencies, and following all established safety laws.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete audit cycle as a team member or leader following applicable standards
- Perform desk studies of client management systems
- Develop inspection checklists and travel itineraries
- Execute evaluations at client locations
- Finalize and submit complete audit packages and reports
- Handle client questions concerning qualified system standards
- Review and adjust training materials and instruct on specialized programs
- Mentor and deliver performance feedback to trainees and supervised auditors
- Fulfill other duties assigned for departmental objectives or professional growth
- Update client records such as kick sheets
- Comply fully with company integrity codes and QHSEE policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Accumulate four years of full-time, relevant practical experience within the automotive or auto parts sector
- Complete two years dedicated to quality assurance activities within the past ten years
- Work within an organization meeting the applicability of IATF 16949
Qualifications
- Attendance at an IRCA or JRCA Certified Lead Auditor Course
